Have you ever felt that your soul has traveled the world over, and awakened to realize that your passport doesn’t prove it? Welcome to my life. I suppose I’ve just been privileged to know a wide variety of amazing people, and that in itself has filled my heart with knowledge of cultures & customs near and far.
Thus far, the Burs have legitimately visited these places beyond our home borders:
- Costa Rica
- Haiti
- Mexico — does that one really count?
- Peru
- Russia
In case you’re wondering, the criteria for “legitimately visiting” a country must include eating, sleeping, and leaving the airport. If we counted mere airport visits, we could (unfairly) boast these additional countries:
- South Korea
- China
- El Salvador
Our wish list might include visiting friends in India, Nicaragua, and Australia. We’ll see…
