*On the right is the 500 sq. ft. illegal addition that we were forced to demolish.

Outdoor Project List: replace all outdoor lighting, demolish illegal addition, tear down porch & replace with pergola covered in climbing vines, repaint stucco to gingerbread color; repaint trim to match windows, add a rounded gate between stucco columns; add rolling gate in front of driveway.

The “country” kitchen:

Kitchen Project List: reface & distress the cabinets in white with stainless steel hardware, change kitchen sink to apron front, change faucet, install garbage disposal, re-lay counter tops in butcher block or granite tile, replace laminate flooring with tile.

The famous medieval front door & entry way:

Door: darken the door to match furniture; replace the rainbow seat padding with new fabric.

The dining room before:

Dining Room Project List: replace the laminate flooring with tile, pull out the wood burning stove to appropriate length, destroy the platform, pull off the awkward wood panel shelf things, re-plaster, repaint.

The dining room has since become the family room, due to the loss of the addition.

The sunroom/illegal addition:

This is the sunroom that is getting demolished because it’s 5 feet too wide. I don’t want to talk about it. I think I’ll go eat chocolate ice cream now.

Half of the unfinished utility room, which is also getting torn down.

Master Bedroom: (as seen from hallway)

Bedroom Project List: repaint walls to Spanish Olive, repaint trim to Cheesecake, replace laminate flooring with wood flooring.

Backyard & Pool:

Yard Project List: resurface the pool, grate the dirt away from the house, build a dog run, build a raised garden with keystone walls, build a small tiki-hut and fire pit for a barbecue area to the front right of the pool, construct winding paths to the outdoor shower & along the side of the house, install irrigation, plant grass, landscape.
