Yeah, I understand that. We got rid of the wood burning stove as our major change. Otherwise, everything is already up. We got an art deco style dresser and converted it into an entertainment consul which hides all of the cords. It's higher than a toddler can reach. We still have the pool drained until we can properly fix it & install an iron fence.

OK, let's revise the baby- proof thing. There's the daddy version and the mommie version( kind of like "we went to the hospital, and poof, there was a baby".) We did use all the safety latches, removed poisons, had poison control on speed dial, plugged the plugs, repositioned glass items, and padded the fireplace.Otherwise good common sense prevailed.

Yeah, I don't plan to. The extent of baby-proofing we've done for visitors is stick plastic covers in the outlets. Important stuff is out of the way already, so I think we're good. Karol reminded me that a blow-up kiddie pool is a good play area, so we'll see about doing that soon. I remember it was fun for Bekah.

Sorry to agree with you, Sarah. He will be roaming very soon. But don't "baby-proof" the house. We didn't do that with any of you. You learned at an early age to respect things...after a few minor mishaps!
